Your Data is Private
Savematic collects only what is needed to power your savings goals. We do NOT sell your data.
Your income, expenses, and savings data exist solely to help you track your goals. We never share this information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
When you use Savematic, the following data may be collected:
Product Information
- • Product names, prices, and images from Amazon, PCPartPicker, and other supported retailers
- • Product URLs for linking back to retailer pages
Savings Goal Data
- • Income sources and amounts
- • Expense names and amounts
- • Savings settings and sales tax rate
- • Current savings balance
Account Data
- • Email address for login purposes only (via Firebase Authentication)
- • Browsing history: We do not track which websites you visit
- • Login credentials: We never see or store your passwords for any retailer
- • Financial accounts: We never access your bank, credit card, or investment accounts
- • Purchase history: We do not track what you buy or when you buy it
Savematic participates in affiliate programs. When you click product links, they may contain affiliate tags. Here is exactly who is involved:
Savematic is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Product links to Amazon include the affiliate tag savematic-20. When you purchase through these links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

CJ Affiliate
Some product links may route through CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction). CJ may collect:
- • Click and impression data
- • Device and browser information
- • IP address (for fraud prevention)
- • Transaction data (order value, not personal details)

Additional Networks
Savematic may also use affiliate links from the following networks:
- • Impact -- performance marketing platform
- • Rakuten Advertising -- affiliate network
- • Awin -- global affiliate network
- • ShareASale -- affiliate marketing network
Each network has its own privacy policy. These networks track clicks and conversions but do not have access to your Savematic account data.
Opt-Out
You can avoid affiliate tracking by navigating directly to retailer websites instead of clicking product links in Savematic. Most affiliate networks also respect browser Do Not Track settings and ad blockers.
Browser Extension
The browser extension stores your wishlist, income, expenses, and settings using browser.storage.local. This data stays on your device unless you opt into cloud sync.
Cloud Sync (Optional)
If you create an account, your savings data is synced to Cloudflare D1 (our database) so your goals persist across devices. Product price cache data is shared across all users and is not tied to any individual account.
Cloudflare Workers
Product price data is cached via a Cloudflare Worker to serve all users faster. This shared cache contains product titles, prices, and images -- not personal data.
Firebase Authentication
Account authentication is handled by Firebase. We use email-only authentication. Firebase stores your email and authentication tokens. See the Firebase Privacy Policy .
Savematic uses minimal cookies:
- • Authentication session cookies (if you create an account)
- • Affiliate tracking cookies set by partner networks when you click product links
We do not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
The Savematic browser extension complies with the Chrome Web Store's Limited Use requirements:
- • The extension only reads product data (title, price, image) from supported retailer product pages
- • It does not track browsing history or access data from non-retailer pages
- • Data collected is used solely to power savings goal tracking features
- • No data is sold or transferred to third parties for advertising
You can delete your data at any time:
- • Delete individual items, income sources, or expenses from the app
- • Delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings
- • Clear local extension data by uninstalling the extension
Product cache data (prices, images, titles) is shared across all users and is not deleted with your account because it is not tied to any individual user.
Children's Privacy
Savematic does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Account creation requires users to be at least 13 years old.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
